Zoo Animals Lotería Game
Learn 30 zoo animals in Spanish using this spin-off of the game Loteria!
Loteria has been the #1 favorite game among my Spanish students. Loteria has proven to be a wonderful way to introduce vocabulary lists in Spanish. My students have demonstrated fast memorization and long-term word retention. I hope this resource will serve your students as well as it has served mine!
Loteria is a traditional Mexican game similar to bingo. The instructions to play are simple. One person is assigned as the caller and is given a deck of cards. All other players receive a board and beans. As the caller announces the cards from their deck, players place beans on the coordinating images on their boards. The first player to fill out all of the images on their board calls out "loteria" and is the winner of the game.
