Tuesday: 

  • 4:40-5:30 p.m. Elementary Group Lesson 

    50 minutes / $25 per class - up to 6 participants 

  • 5:40-6:30 p.m. Elementary Group Lesson

    50 minutes / $25 per class - up to 6 participants

  • 6:40-7:20 p.m. Private session 

    40 minutes / $50 per class, $10 for second participant  

  • 7:30-8:00 p.m. Private session ($38) 

    30 minutes / $38 per class - limited to one participant 

Wednesday:

Meet the Teacher

Hello, my name is Sophia! My passion for the Spanish language began at a young age. I taught myself Spanish through trial and error, combining immersive and traditional methods, and became fluent through dedication and persistence. This passion led me to pursue higher education, earning a bachelor’s degree in Spanish in 2020. I recently completed a Master’s in ESL and Bilingual Education at Universidad de Alcalá while living in Spain and graduated in Spring 2025.

I now live in the United States, where I work as a Spanish immersion teacher. My teaching journey started early in my language-learning adventure, and I quickly realized my love for education. With experience teaching diverse learners, I am committed to helping others unlock the many opportunities that come with speaking Spanish.

With 20 countries using Spanish as a primary language and over 400 million speakers worldwide, the benefits of learning Spanish are clear. Speaking Spanish has enriched my life—allowing me to travel, connect with others, and embrace new experiences. I’m excited to share this journey with my students!

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Spanish Immersion JK/K Teacher

I currently teach at an international school as the Junior Kindergarten/Kindergarten Spanish Immersion Teacher.

Bilingual Language Assistant (Madrid, Spain)

I contributed to a bilingual public school in Spain as an English language assistant, supporting language acquisition and cultural exchange for students.

Spanish Teacher

I served as the Lead Spanish Guide at three Montessori schools from 2021 until 2025, launching school Spanish programs and teaching primary and elementary-aged children.

Master’s in ESL & Bilingual Education - 2025

While residing in Madrid, Spain, I completed a master’s degree in ESL and Bilingual Education at Universidad de Alcalá.
